Technical problems

An earlier version of the upgraded app ran well on my old iPad, iOS 5.1, though there were occasional bugs with both scoring and card passing, the latter causing a crash.
On iPad Air iOS 8.1.3, the latest version of the app ran briefly, but now simply refuses to open, crashing within a second of hitting the icon. There appears to be no way of contacting the developer.
